The Garry Hurvitz Brain Sciences Centre (GHBSC) — at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in North York, Ontario, represents a visionary step forward in the treatment and research of mental health and neurological disorders. Designed with a deep understanding of healing environments, the space blends innovation with intention.

Mondo products were chosen for their seamless integration into this environment, offering a balance of softness underfoot, hygienic performance, and timeless visual appeal. The installation features over 47,000 square feet of Mondo rubber flooring with a carefully curated palette of Kayar in K104 Lacey Pearl and K54 Dune Grass, Massetto in S04 Haze, and Natura in NA05 Greige. These selections were made not only for their rich pattern and subtle neutral tones, but also for their ability to contribute to a quiet, calming interior environment, essential for both patients and staff. With their exceptional durability and slip-resistant properties, Mondo’s rubber flooring solutions help create a space that is as safe and functional as it is restorative.
