Carbon footprint
ESG
ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) refers to a set of criteria encompassing environmental factors, social responsibilities, and corporate governance practices that can guide investment decisions. Investments that take ESG into account are often called responsible investing, and when focused on creating positive change, they are sometimes referred to as impact investing.
GHG
Greenhouse gases are responsible for warming Earth by trapping heat in the atmosphere. They stand out from other gases because they absorb radiation emitted from the planet, producing the greenhouse effect. As sunlight heats the surface, the emitted heat is mostly captured by these gases, keeping the planet warm.
