The name means “The View” and rightly so: perched over the hills in the coast town of Harstad, in Troms county, this nursery offers beautiful views over the city, the fjord and the mountains. Imbued with the values of the Reggio Emilia Approach, the educational philosophy developed by psychologist Loris Malaguzzi based on “the hundred languages” that children are endowed with, The View focuses on outdoor activities and healthy diet.

The municipal nursery opened in November 2015 and today hosts 69 children (with a Number of Children per Employee ratio of 6,5), age ranging from 1 to 5 years. On the inside, each child has an average personal space for playing of over 53 square feet. All common areas are covered with our own Granito flooring. 6,458 sq ft of the building feature our Granito Elastic acoustic flooring, with a guaranteed noise due to treading reduction up to 21 dB.
